Terms of Use

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of the Mergey iOS application. By using Mergey, you agree that these Terms and the applicable App Store terms referenced here govern your use. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Mergey is published by an independent individual developer based in Türkiye. Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@mergey.tech.

2. License and Intellectual Property

Mergey is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless expressly stated otherwise, your license to use the app is considered together with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Intellectual property rights in the application, interface, brand elements and original content created by the developer are reserved. Using Mergey does not transfer ownership of those rights to you.

3. What Mergey Does and How It May Be Used

Mergey provides tools that can help identify duplicate or similar photos, large media files and duplicate contacts, compress selected videos, and create contact backups. Groups, similarity assessments and storage-saving estimates are assistance features and are not guaranteed to be complete or error-free in every case.

You should review your selections before starting deletion, merging, restoration or compression actions. You must not use the app for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, or in a way intended to disrupt the security or normal operation of the app.

4. Your Content, Deletion and Backups

You remain in control of your photos, videos and contacts. Mergey uses the relevant iOS permission and confirmation flows for user-initiated actions; nevertheless, you should keep an appropriate backup of important content before carrying out actions that may have permanent effects.

Photo deletion is subject to Apple Photos and iOS behavior. Apple determines how long deleted items remain in Recently Deleted and the conditions under which they can be restored. You are responsible for securely retaining local contact backups and protecting copies that you export.

5. Mergey Plus and App Store Purchases

Mergey Plus may include auto-renewing subscription options offered through the App Store. The current price, currency, subscription period, any trial or promotional terms, and renewal information are shown in the Apple purchase sheet before you complete a purchase.

Apple collects payment. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable policies. RevenueCat may be used to verify purchase entitlements and perform Restore Purchases.

6. Updates and Third-Party Services

Mergey features may change over time for security, compliance, technical maintenance or product-development reasons. Availability of particular functions may depend on the iOS version, device capabilities, Apple services or necessary service providers such as RevenueCat.

Apple, RevenueCat and any sharing destination selected by you operate under their own service terms and privacy practices. Mergey does not guarantee that third-party services outside its control will remain uninterrupted or unchanged.

7. Warranties and Limits of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mergey is provided on an as-available basis. No guarantee is made that similarity detection, storage-saving estimates or cleanup suggestions will always be complete, or that the app will operate without interruption under every device and operating-system condition.

You are responsible for reviewing content and maintaining appropriate backups before carrying out deletion, merging, compression or export actions that you choose to initiate. This section does not exclude or limit consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Privacy

Personal data processing associated with Mergey is described in the Privacy. Accepting these Terms does not by itself constitute consent for processing that requires a separate iOS permission or another specific legal basis.
